Have you ever had the blending of worlds, particularly sound?

Where one minute you know the distinction clearly and the next you're sure everyone's going to glare at you or ask you to turn down the music on your MP3 player because you're disrupting the world.

This is taking Harry Potter Mania to a whole new level. I kinda like the the idea traveling across the country by bus: road trip, only you don't have to stop to sleep or pop speed pills to avoid drifting off the road. I don't even mind the library theme, but the having the soul purpose for the adventure focus on one book and the interviews is teetering on the edge of lunacy. It's the Bus Tour from the Madical World and I bet there won't be enough buses in the world to accommodate everyone who tries to sign up. I guess they figure after this summer they'll only have two movies and then the whole phenomenon gone for good.

Unfortunately I haven't had time to read entries and write a descent one myself. However I have taken the nerd test. It was OK.

What Be Your Nerd Type?
Your Result: Social Nerd

You're interested in things such as politics, psychology, child care, and peace. I wouldn't go so far as to call you a hippie, but some of you may be tree-huggers. You're the type of people who are interested in bettering the world. You're possible the least nerdy of them all; unless you participate in other activies that paled your nerdiness compared to your involvement in social activities. Whatever the case, we could still use more of you around. ^_^

They're starting filming for Hellboy 2 in June and it should be ready for summer 2008.

Rumor has it that Alfonso Cuaron might be invited back to direct Harry Potter 7. The book hasn't even come out yet and it might get such an awesome director. I still like might be interesting to let Tim Burton have a go at one of the films.

Great day news cinematic news.

I don't care what anyone saids, no two sunsets are alike. Yesterday, the sky was clear except for the streaks of contrails creating a random decorative pattern. It made me miss shooting stars. The hustle and bustle of the city may have forced us to give up a beautiful speckled nights but in return we get the highlighted spray from planes that can be seen at least 60 miles all around every evening when the sun goes down. I don't know if it's a fair trade, but none the less I think I'm going to try to catch more sunsets.

I've been practicing writing with my left hand for the past few months and I think I've gotten decent. I mostly practiced while at work as my assignments are generally insignificant. One day I hurt my left hand so returned to my right. Vicky, the boss, asked the whole group - a total of three people are employed under her - who had taken inventory because she did not recognize the hand writing. I told her that I had.
She said, "No, this is not your hand writing." And I told her why I had to write with my right hand that day. And her response was, "Well, from this, I think you're right handed."
I told her that I was trying to learn to write with my left. She gave me this look that I thought said, "How dare you use your lesser hand to take my inventory," but then she laughed, shook her head, and said, "You're a strange girl."

I feel stuck. I'm no longer attached to the year long lease I signed due to the occupational clause in the contract, so technically I'm free. However, I'm feeling guilty about leaving my roommates with my third of the rent so I told them that if they had trouble finding a replacement I would pay my part of the rent up till November.
As time has gone on, I've almost moved out and my sympathy has waned as I have to keep cleaning up after them, their dog chews everything up while they shift the blame to my dog, and I don't see much effort on their part to find a new flatmate.
I'm tempted to put up FOR RENT signs around campus and move completely out leaving up to them to accept one of the offers or pay the next months rent by themselves.
Meanwhile, tempers are rising with me continually asking about their efforts and they (I know) are feeling like I'm being selfish. An argument finally broke out where I accused them of being lackadaisical about the search (which to tell the truth I'm really not certain of) and one of them basically told me that I'm abandoning them.
It sucks and it's sad that I can't wait to get away from the two of the longest friends I've ever had.
I'm kinda looking forward to my weekend away where I can forget about all this crap for awhile.

I just got done reading this book, "When the Elephant Dance".

When the Elephants Dance

It was intriguing. I love World Wars era: the cultural blinding, social growth, etc. This book covered those very things but from the perspective of people on the other side of the world. With results that weren't quite as favorable as those in the western hemisphere, it's full of stories from people who we rarely hear anything from.
I felt compelled to share as the only reason I even read this book is because I friend sent it to me from Spain. It was one of those books that I kept pulling out to read at stop lights.

This was fairly accurate. Even in things that I didn't necessarily want to agree with, I had to confess were correct.

I stopped at a gas station to use the facilities in far eastern Kentucky along my way. In place of what, in my opinion, should have been a tampon despenser, was a condom despenser. For .75ยข, you had your choice of rainbow colored or ribbed.
I do believe birth control is an important issue for that region.
